| Title: | [Ragamuffin Ball at Calumet Club] |
| Date: | 1939-04-14 |
| Description: | Students of the New Hampshire School of Accounting and Finance last night enjoyed a rag ball at the Calumet club. Above are members of the committee. Left to right, John McCarthy, Ethel Griffin, Gemma Desjardins, Paul Huneau, Marjorie Montgomery, John Murray, Harriet Werner, and Herbert Collier. (From newspaper clipping dated April 15, 1939)
On April 14, 1939 the day division of the New Hampshire School of Accounting & Finance will sponsor its second social event of the year in the form of a Rag-a-muffins Ball, to be held at the Calumet Club in town. This particular type of dance has the outstanding reputation of being the most novel type of entertainment and our dance has all the symptoms of being just such a spectacular attention. (From Around School, March 31, 1939) |
