MA35J -- SELECTED INDUSTRIAL AIR POLLUTION CONTROL EQUIPMENT Annual 1994 Issued September 1995 Contact person: Richard Wiesler (301) 457-4746 SCOPE OF SURVEY -- This survey covers producers of selected industrial air pollution control equipment. SURVEY METHODOLOGY -- The statistics in this publication are collected by mail on Bureau of the Census annual survey Form MA35J, Selected Industrial Air Pollution Control Equipment. The survey panel includes all known domestic producers of the selected products specifically designed for use in air pollution control, approximately 110 companies. REVISIONS -- Statistics for prior years may be revised as a result of corrected figures from respondents, late reports received for which imputations were originally made as described, or other corrections. Figures which have been revised by more than 5 percent from previously published figures are indicated by footnotes. HISTORICAL NOTE -- Data on selected air pollution control equipment have been collected by the Bureau of the Census in the Current Industrial Reports series since 1971. Historical data may be obtained from Current Industrial Reports available at your local Federal Depository Library. A list of these libraries may be obtained from the Bureau of the Census Regional Offices. OBTAINING REPORTS -- This report is available electronically through the Census - Bureau of Economic Analysis Electronic Bulletin Board, accessed by dialing 301-457-2310. (More detailed information is given at the end of this report.) INQUIRIES -- For survey methodology and definitions of terms, see the 1991 publication, MA35J(91)-1, issued October 1992. Printed data tables will be available at the end of each data year through an annual compendium publication, which will include information on all Current Industrial Reports. Address inquiries concerning further information on explanation of terms, additional related reports, and methodological details to U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census, Manufacturing and Construction Division, Washington, DC 20233, or call Richard Wiesler, 301-457-4746.
