This project addresses causes and influences of this problem with an Agriculture and Farmland Protection Plan. Major outcomes of the project include a set of goals, strategies, and a detailed implementation plan intended to economically strengthen agriculture and to retain farmland. The project has been virtually completed, with procedural steps of public presentations and County adoption expected by March 1998. Implementation is expected to get underway by April 1, 1998.
